1970's Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Skirt Set  

This vintage 2 piece Russian peasant style day dress outfit from Yves Saint Laurent is from one of our most memorable estates of vintage clothing and accessories. This is an incredible cotton outfit with a full skirt and an open front blouse or jacket that can be worn tied at the waist, tucked in or on the outside, as shown. This outfit, as with many vintage items from this estate, was probably worn only once if ever, so it is in as new condition! The cotton fabric is covered with beautiful flowers in shades of deep pinks and Bright Blues on a cream background that is similar to batik. The background of the skirt has pretty gold abstract leaves. The sash isn't attached and can be worn in a number of ways.

The top is marked French size 38 and the skirt is marked French size 10, and we would estimate this 1970's vintage YSL outfit it be a US modern day size 6/8. Please use the measurements as a guide for the best fit.
